This gas tank was on my very first BMW,
Gretchen,
back in 1986.
Before long the right side of the tank
received a large dent
and ever since
it has been kicking around my garage
too messed up to use
and too sentimental to throw away.
My neighbor's dog suggested
I saw it in half
and has some other projects in mind for later .
