The other gentleman is Glynn Roberts, of Nottinghamshire, England, who met Vladimir three years ago in Gibraltar.

Glynn rode his BMW R80GS around the world -- three years in all -- in the late 1980's and is an active member of the long-distance motorcycle cadre.
