Vladimir Yarets January 6th & 7th 2005 Aaron Winchester 1/11/2005 This is just one of the many maps that Vladimir carries as communication aids. I personally saw at least six maps which recorded different parts of the trip, on different scales. Vladimir will set up a kind of show, anywhere there is a blank wall, really, which will feature a couple of maps like this and a series of photos in laminated sheets, mostly showing Vladimir with smiling happy groups of people. I am reliably informed that such a show is a good way to generate cash capital for travelling; on one such afternoon, in England, donations were around one hundred pounds, worth about $150.00 US at the time.
