If you don't already know, Vladimir is
a deaf-mute from Belarus in the former USSR, who is pursuing a
place in the Guiness Book of World Records as the first deaf-mute
to travel around the world overland on a motorcycle.
His deafness stems from a blow to the head
when he was about a year old.
That was sixty-four years ago.
Most of the information provided here is the result of a long period of hand-waving and face-making which is all I could do to communicate.
This is most like playing Charades.
This is the front of Vladimir's new motorcycle, a BMW f650 provided
by Tag Motorsports in Geneva, Illinois, after his previous machine,
a Jawa 350, was destroyed in an accident.
